watched her, since she had entered the hall.
Time had
stood still.
They didn’t
hear the music.
They didn’t
saw the cheering crew.
All they
could feel was the electricity and power between them.
Her blue
eyes sparkled,
when they
announced, the next dance would be ladies’ choice.
After all
it was time to claim her man.
A second
before their hands touched, another pair of piercing blue eyes broke into the connection.
“This dance
is mine. You are no longer his Captain.”
Chakotay
took Kathryn’s hand.
“She is no
longer my Captain, and she always outranked you.”
